1 Corinthians 12:12 says, “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.”

Here at Farmland Friends Church (FFC), each person is part of the body of Christ—young, old, male, female. As the verse in Corinthians says, we are one body made up of many different parts, and each part has a very important role. It is our prayer that every person allows God to show them their role as part of His body, and wholeheartedly obeys God’s leading. The body cannot function if the parts are separated and not united or if one part thinks it is less important than another. Every single person is important in the eyes of God. He created each of us unique and in His image, and He has a plan for every one of our lives.

The Youth Group at FFC is an important part of this body. Though they may be young in age and even faith, they have a very specific and important role in the body of Christ, and they are of no less value. 1 Corinthians 12:26-27 goes on to say, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of it.” As they grow in their relationship with Jesus, we as the rest of the body are called to come alongside and rejoice with them, encourage them, hurt with them, and be present with them just as they are called to do the same with the rest of us.

Youth Group meets Sunday evenings from 5-7pm in the youth room and is for grades 7-12. Youth Group typically includes a lesson/sermon from the Bible that the teens can apply to the obstacles and joys they face in their life, a snack or even a meal at times, and a chance for games and fellowship. Teens, come join us!
